Young women usually stop growing about 2 yrs after getting their period on a regular basis.
It the case of a girl who started very early, this would not be true.

Yes, women grow when they get their period. Its totally normal. Thats what having your period is all about, growing up and maturing. I don't agree at all with the person who said they grow untill they are 16. That is 100% false. All women grow differently. We are all built different, and our bodies all do different things. Some girls don't start their period untill they are 16, however this is rare and un-healthy. Make sure to eat right and exercise and you'll grow perfectly good and heathly. I hope I have helped.

Men and women grow until they are 25, although it is not very noticeable after 18 to 20.

yes i grew about 5 inches after i started my period i was 5'6 when i started and am now 5'11
