Science Fiction is based on science facts most of the time. Space Travel, the telephone, TV, cars, submarines where all called science fiction and a fools beliefs hundreds of years ago. yet today they are everyday items and happenings. It was once believed that a man would not walk on the moon. We Have been to the moon more than once. Yes the directors of a lot of science fiction movies try to show the viewers hidden messages. I believe they are corect.

Not sure what movies in particular you're referring to, but I have always liked Star Treks optimistic portrayal of the future.

They also have some of the best looking starships I've ever seen anywhere, and their tech is KEWL!
