On an occasional day my body has told me in the evening that I could do another half hour, just as sometimes it tells me to turn over and have another bit of sleep. I have been exercising for so many years now, I listen to what it says. I try and stick to my 75-90 minutes 5 days a week on average but am prepared to vary it depending on if I am having a good week or a bad one.

Depends how fit you are. When I was in the army and very fit I used to go training either in the gym or outside first thing in the morning by myself and at least once a day with my platoon. If you're not in good shape or are just average fitness its not such a good idea and your ligaments/cartilidges will start to protest and or get damaged.

Once or twice i have done two sets of training in one day but that is because i work crappy shifts and am trying to get in shape for my wedding.

I have usually found that it is too much and end up not being able to go again for three days as i can't recover

Hello,

(ANS) VERY VERY BAD!! idea. why? because you are in serious danger of a) over training b) not giving the body a chance to recover from the first training session c) increases the level of waste products in the body as a result of the over training.

**Even serious oplympic athelet's or professional dancers dont do two training sessions in one day.

**More than one training session in a day GREATLY increases you chances of serious injury or pulled muscles. Even long term permanent physical damage is possible.

I trained for x3 years including a scholarship to train at the Laban centre in London as a professional dancer, I also trained very intensively for about a year x3 times a week doing circuit training & weight training. I never in all those years trained more than once a day. I dont recommend it at all.

heard of the word 'gym' seen it on the television and on leaflets, even been invited to join one, but never have.

they say exercising three times a week is enough to keep you healthy, why do more? Speak to your doctor, make sure you are not over doing it.

hey want to know why I never been to a GYM.?

Tell you one day, when I have the nerve to explain.

Gosh no - I am finding it difficult to go twice a week! I have great respect for anyone able to but I guess it could be too much best not overdo it!

No i haven't managed to go twice in my life time yet. But i think it's a bad idea you can get addicted I've heared, that's why I'm not risking it lol.

I dont go to the gym, but your supposed to go once every other day. Do whatever you want, but I thik once a day is enough.

Depends on how long you're working out and what exercise you're doing.
Don't overdo it one day, and leave yourself unable to go the next day- that is setting yourself up to fail. Don't do it.
Good luck!!
