Even in some of the bad movies he has been in he has portrayed a likeable or at least entertaining character. I just saw an advertisement for Scorcher which he apparently played the President of the U.S. I've only seen about a dozen of his films but I liked him in all of them. Is there one role that stands out above the rest for you? Perhaps a rare one that you may want to reccommend? Among some of the ones I really liked and have seen multiple times are Blind Fury, Survivng the Game, Blade Runner, the Hitcher and Ladyhawke.

In my opinion Ruger Hauer is an underrated action movie star. He plays a great bad guy. He was brilliant in The Hitcher. He was also great in Nighthawks. He has this charismatic psycho thing going that works great in a meglomaniac role.
Going against that, I also liked him in Escape from Sobibor.

Batty in Blade Runner. He was good in The hitcher also

I loved him in LADYHAWKE. I also really liked him in BLOOD OF HEROES (I think that's the title) where it was this like post-nuclear war society.
Both were excellent movies and he was the lead actor. I liked him in BLADE RUNNER, too, but he was a secondary character.

Hmmmm.... complicated. i might could circulate with the two Ladyhawk or The Hitcher, they the two prepare his distinctive factors. I enjoyed needed lifeless or Alive in basic terms for the badness of the action picture with Gene Simons as an arab terrorist yet definatly no longer his perfect.

He is MY favourite actor of all time. I loved him in Wanted dead or alive. He was sooooooooooo good in that role. The Hitcher he was bad, and lady hawk was okay. Just looking at him used to get me very very warm. LOL .~~~~~~~~~~~~~

All scripted roles portrayed on the screen do not compare to the this one he has undertaken in real life.

Blade Runner was my favorite... he was perfect in it!!
In the 'Wilby Conspiracy'... he is quite young and most girls I know who saw it say he is drop-dead georgeous in it...
