First off i dont know how this happened but a few days ago i started up my computer and it ran and everything but i could see absolutely nothing. First i thought it was my monitor but then i hooked this old comp up to it and the monitor is fine. It seems to start up perfectly fine i just cant see a thing. I'm guessing its the video card or something but i dont know.

Definitely, before doing anything drastic, attempt to plug your PC into another monitor, even if that means carting it over to a friends house.

If it still doesn't work, then try taking the video card out and putting it back in, and if that doesn't work try a new video card.

Hi. Do you have another monitor you could use to check the video card. May be worth a try just to loosen and re-seat the GPU.
