There are so many good options at Disney, but it is kind of hard to recommend anything since I don't know what you are looking for as far as food and cost.
I would recommend looking at some sites to see what the restaurants offer and see which one is the most appealing to you, that way you know you are getting what you want.
For starters, some of my favorites are LeCelliers, Victoria and Albert's Wolfgang Puck's, Sci Fi, 50's Prime Time, etc. There are so many that are pretty good, all of the nicer restaurants are usually well worth the cost.
If you will be staying onsite and plan to do a lot of table service, you might want to look into the dining plan, it can save you a lot of money and most of the restuarants are included on the plan. Generally you can save around 40%, tip and everything is included.
I've included some links with info on the different restuarants that may help you with your planning.
Have a great time!

I have 3 favorites at Disney.
My favorite dinner show is at FT Wilderness called the Hoop De Doo Review and is excellent.
As far as dinner at the resorts, I love Boma's at Animal Kingdom Lodge - their buffet is great and as a heads up there is always a wait there so I recommend priority seating.
My third favorite is Ohana's at the Polynesian Resort-request a window seat if possible. It's a great place to check out the fireworks from Magic Kingdom!

In my opinion, most of the dining on property at Disney is very over priced and under whelming. As good as Disney is at entertainment, they still need a lot of help with the food service.
That being said, I have had decent meals at the Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk. Portabella's at Downtown Disney was also good. With drinks, appetizers, entrees and desert, expect about $70 to $90 per person at either of the fore mentioned locations.
If you have transportation and can get off property, try the MoonFish Restaurant on West Sand Lake Road (it is about a ten minute drive from Downtown Disney area). Great food and atmosphere.

Magic kingdom:
Crystal Palace: buffet style with great food, Prime rib, potatoes, mixed veggies, chicken, soup, cold salad and dessert bar! this is my FAVORITE
EPCOT!
Germany's buffet: SO GOOD sausage, krout, cabbage, potatoes, chicken, veggies, shnitzle, cold salad and dessert bar, my other favorite!
Mexico: very very good, great food, very traditional mexican cousine! festive atmosphere!
Japan: I LOVE SUSHI! I will get a table by the window at night so I can eat sushi while I watch the fire works!
Canada: great stake house with awesome cheese soup!
France: good place for lunch, the onion soup is great!
MGM:
Si Fi: bugers and shakes here!! Um great atmosphere, its a dine in at the out door movie set. They sit you in a "car" table and your servers wear roller skates. It's dark and there a big screen with old cartoons!!
50's prime time: welcome to grandmas house: pot roast, potatoes and don't even think about dessert until you finish your veggies. VERY FUN!
Bomas: its a buffet at Animal Kingdom lodge, African food!! really good, if your into trying different food I would really suggest this place!
Ohanas: Family style resturant at the Polynesian! Traditional Hawaian food, great flavor, great atmosphere, entertainment its a wonderful place to go! However you get the same type of deal at the luau so not sure if I would do both!!!
I could go on and on but here are some of my top choices, hope its helpful!
