A nice evening top to wear for her night out with friends.,
She admired it and I sneaked back and got it.
When she mentioned wanting to see a particular film, I sneaked out and got a CD of it.
Then met her for coffee in one of her favourite places and spent time with her, chatting and arranging to take her out for a nice day next week with her friend.
The things I do for Brownie points! lol
She is 84, I love her to bits, and who knows how much longer I shall have her around for. While she is I am still her "Little girl"!

My mum passed away nearly 10 months ago and being the first mothers day without her has been extremely difficult. I went to the cemetery to visit her grave side and left her some flowers, I also wrote a poem which I read there, this made me feel better. I miss my mother to much but I am sure she is watching over me and my family form the kingdom of heaven.

I sent her a big bunch of flowers. I used to call her but she's now too deaf for the phone.
I honour her on Mothering Sunday, not because I love her, or even like her. She put me and my sister in care when we were very little. In my defence - nobody likes my Mother - my children cannot stand her. BUT I do not want my children to see me treat my Mother badly, so although she is an unpleasant woman, she gets cards, flowers and (through gritted teeth) kisses.

I mean I was in the hospital on mothers day loosing my son, and my mother couldn't understand why I didn't make sure she didn't get her present. I ask again why would I appreciate my mother?

Took some flowers to her grave. Look after your mum not just on mothers day. Shes the only one you've got.

I wish my Mom were still alive. I miss her dearly. I live in Canada and she lived
in the states. But just to be able to hold her and tell her I love her for being my
Mom....and a good friend, too. We were very close.

My mother is no longer alive. But when she was, a day didn't go by that I didn't tell her how much I loved her.
