I am about three months preg. and have noticed a smell down there almost reminding me of the stuff that got me into this situation lol. i was just wondering if it was normal ? Help <3Britt

That can be normal, but you might want to ask your dr next time you see him/her. You might have a yeast infection or something else. But discharge is normal during pregnancy.

You shouldnt be having a smell down there. If it is a fishy like odor *u have an std or an infection* If it smells like yeast *bread* with discharge present *u have a yeast infection*...If u say the smell reminds u of the "sex" that would mean kinda fishy? Thats what i would assume. If thats the case u probably have Bacteria Vaginosis *which is a common sti during pregnancy* and u will need to be treated once u get out of the first trimester...Trichomoniasis is a very common std many pregnant women have gotten,which has a fishy like or very bad smell and u will have a greenish-frothy like discharge...whatever u do,u need to speak to your OB so they can presscribe u meds to treat it...Good Luck!

OK im having the same problem and its not an infection i really cant say what it is because i just noticed today it reminded me of the smell when i was having sex and its kinda ironic how i saw your question. im about 3 months as well. i think its normal especially if we both have the same thing going on around the same time lol im still so suprised if you get an answer to what it is let me kno you can email me at epiri2002@yahoo.com

i know that discharge is normal i am not sure about the smell. sometimes when ur pregnant u can develop bacterial vaginosis or a UTI. So that may be the problem. But u may want to ask your doc so he can give u some antibiotics just in case.

it may just be that your sense of smell is more sensitive and can pick it up more than before or u could have an infection tho i think they come with strange coloured discharge and other symptoms
if u dont have any other symptoms i wouldnt worry too much. but u should check with your doctor just in case it never hurts to put ur mind at rest

Could be from changes in your hormones. Ask your OB at your next visit. Even your sense of smell can be more sensitive while pregnant.

Sounds like you got an infection.
You shouldn't have a "smell" down there.
