Would you prefer a wonderful short life or a boring long life?

Thanks for all answerers. This question is open for discussion and welcome for expressing your own opinions about quality and quantity of life. It seems for most of us, the quality of life is more important than the quantity of life.

I prefer quantity in life and that doesn't necessarily mean a boring life. I think wanting the quantity in life simply means having what you need most in life and what's important to you like family, close & true friends, a job you love or living the way you want to, and more things and people that make your life more enjoyable. When a person has the necessity things that make life worth living they live a long and happy life.

I, myself, would prefer a wonderful short life. What's the use of boring yourself for 80+ years when you could live life like it was meant to be lived, even for a little while?

This is not hard to answer when you have worked in nursing homes ... short and sweet is the way to go, I feel, from this perspective. Having said that, life is generally a mix of wonderful and boring - enjoy what you can and be yourself.

In a straight choice between those two... I'd go for wonderful and short.
I don't like the idea of doing nothing for a long period of time, I'd rather do all the amazing things, even if they didn't last very long, it would still be preferable then never doing anything.

I would like to have a long wonderful life. If your life is short, you do not know what opportunities you might have missed out on. Or what experiences you have not yet partaken in. The race does not always go to the Hare!

I have always said, what is the point in living a long life if you do nothing with it? Then again if you live a boring life, kinda look foward to dying lol
