Chinese and Taiwanese people are about the same.
Japanese and Korean are about the same.
The Japanese have half-curve upper lid and the lower one is
straight across. So with the Korean. They are mixed Japanese and something else.
No pure race. Just accept them as from the location they come from and stop stressing over body features. That's
how all this prejudice comes about.

I can't really expain it. It helps to know geography, but Asians are like the rest of us, in that they look more white the further north you go. So Koreans and japanese look the whitest (to me) Chinese people come it a lot of varieties so it is hard to say. And it should be easy to tell a southest asian, like laotian, cambodians, ect from chinese or japanese.

You just know. Its not an exact science, but like some people LOOK german and French and Scandanavian, some look Chinese and Korean and Japenese.
I could have sworn my Korean co-worker was Japenese...even my Japenese roomate thought he was japenese.
Intergrate with different groups of Asians...it'll get easier.

You can just tell. Especially if you live in a multicultural community, you just get to recognise the difference. An example is that someone who may have Chinese ancestry looks nothing like someone from Malaysia.

I'm polish and I can distinguish between people of other eastern european heritage (russian, lithuanian, etc.) by their facial structure so I imagine it may be the same for people in eastern asian countries.
