I have a 128mb laptop, and like the look and feel of Windows (sorry hard-core Linux people). Anyway, Open Source programs are more appealing, and I was wondering which LiveCD distro. to go with?

I vote for Knopix but the it all depends on what you want to use it for, I use the Knopix tools for system checks and they seem to work very well.

Ubuntu is great to just "get acquainted" with linux or for demonstration of linux.

Ubuntu is nice, but requires 256 MB of RAM. Slax is pretty good, but it's webpage says that 144 MB is required to run Xwindows with KDE. You probably want something with either KDE or Gnome as the desktop.

The lighter version of Ubuntu (Xubuntu) says it will run with 128 MB for the LiveCD, but needs 192 MB for hard drive install. This should look fairly similar to Windows. It uses the Xfce desktop. http://www.xubuntu.org/

Puppy Linux and DSL (Damn Small Linux) are also worth looking into, but IMHO lack the polish of Xubuntu.
