These coins are missing "In God We Trust","E Pluribus Unum", and have no "mint mark". I understand the U.S.A. has not made a mistake like this in 150 years. I heard this and would like to know if this is true, approximately how many were made, and how much they are worth now and how much they would appreciate in time?

The United States Mint does not know the exact figure. The "Godless" GW dollar coins were made from the Philadelphia. There has been at least 300 million made according to the US Mint article.

The last article I read was from 100,000 to 300,000. This amount would be in one bin and that is what they said got out of the mint, before the edge lettering was put on. As for the mint they actually do a good job. With congress giving them more and more jobs to do, with less and less help, I have to give them credit for the few things that do happen. How may toys and foods are recalled or aren't recalled until some one gets sick. Look how many states got hit with bad hamburger from one company over the years. Only time will tell if people paid to much for them. If there is that large amount, are there enough people interested in them to keep the price up or is this another coin fad that will flop?? You will have to wait and see.
