I have started work at this new building. I notice that when i walk in this certain office there is two women in there about my age(early 20's)and they always seem to stare at me,i find it really irritating and it's obvious,they should'nt have no reason not to like me because i dont go in their office much.

try saying hello!! you're new and it could be that they are unsure about approaching you.... especially if you have that sort of nose in the air attitude(you claim to be irritated by them)....i dont think that they are jealous or intimidated by you, just curious. try a smile if talkings to them too difficult for you.on the other hand it could that they haven't noticed you at all and you are being paranoid. you'venothing to lose by being friendly. good luck

The same prob as me,I'm a secretary in a firm,but other secretaries,always treat me much more obviously than yours.As the annual dinner for secretaries, they didn't notify me.and passing me in office, like hasn't saw meI guess they are shortage of confidence.

Is it a bad way that they stare or is it in a curious manner? Maybe they want to get to know you better and are wandering who you are?
Or maybe they are just doing the women b*tchy thing that makes other women insecure. Try making conversation with them

Stare back with a smile and win,make them look away,next time they will be to embarrassed to look at you.
Fact.People make there minds up on how they feel about someone within the first 5 Min's of seeing them,we all do it subconsciously,they proberly are getting you mixed up with somebody else or assuming what you are like (stereotyping).
Or go over to them and say do I know you?

maybe they see you as a potential friend and want to ask you for office drinks
maybe you dress like a slapper
maybe one of them recognises you from somewhere
just smile and say hello and see what they say

Maybe if you say "hello" with a bright smile they might be embarrassed enough to answer. If not, stuff them, they're immature and not worth any thought on your part.

if you see them alone i bet they wont stare, reminds me of back at school, all the girly girls giggling in their little gangs...pathetic, just hold your head high and smile!
