I have always been a fan of technical wrestlers in pro wrestling because they are actually the closest you get to actual wrestlers. In fact Bret Hart was the reason I started watching wrestling in 1988 and since that point wrestlers who are technical wrestlers (like Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, Edge, etc.) have always been my favorite because they deserve to be in pro wrestling. Anyways, now there are two younger wrestlers who have shown that they are technically skilled, Randy Orton and CM Punk. Alot of people who just like to bash Orton say that he doesnt do alot of fast pace and agressive moves as much as others but the reason for that is because he is a technical wrestler and technical wrestlers focus on getting their opponents and holds and weakening a certain area of the opponent in order to get a submission. That was the way Randy trained and he has gotten alot of positive feedback with his wrestling. In fact, last year Bret Hart said he would enjoy wrestling Orton.

The WWE hasn't really shown how good CM Punk can be at technical wrestling so if you want to see it you will have to look at videos of his matches when he was in ROH. CM Punk is very deserving of being a top guy in the business just like Randy Orton and in the age (right now) where fans (mostly young fans) only want to see power moves and so on the new generation of Ring Generals Randy Orton and CM Punk are a sweet relief to technical wrestling fans. What do you think?

mcgowan7, the Hardy's aren't technical wrestlers, they are aerial, speed, and power wrestlers. The Hardy's are great at what they do but in no way are they technical wrestlers.

You know before I read your question I completely forgot that Orton is a young superstar since he won the WHC he began acting like he has been in WWE for more than 10 years he gained exp rapidly and developed his own style
but Orton isn't a complete technical wrestler like Benoit and Angle but he is smart and he can be a submission wrestler if he can get a submission hold (I am crazy about Benoit)
CM is the only real new talent after after.......
well maybe Carlito
but he gotta change his skin and built some power cuz you can't only depend on your tech?

Punk has really been watered down since his Second City Saints days, not to mention that politics are against him. The million dollar princess and her big nosed hubby aren't too fond of the Punker.
Orton's nothing special, especially not on a technical level. He's a good wrestler, a great main event wrestler, but by no means is he technical...I mean, when was the last time Orton pulled off a submission?
Either way, I like both of these guys, no matter how much CM rips off KENTA.

I am not yet that conviced about CM Punk, but Orton has impressed me. I think Shelton Benjamin is very talented, but sadly the fans haven't really been behind him. Johnny Nitro is another fav of mine.

Punk did a lot of great stuff in ROH, I especially like the three matches he had with Samoa Joe. I think he's being misused by WWE though. It's pretty lame that they had him lose cleanly to Bob Holly of all people.

so is CM Punk...
but im sorry to say to CM punk that he is not going to win the MITB ladder match...
