I have a Compaq laptop and have no idea how to do a screen capture. I've read that the pics will go to a Clipboard, but I have no idea where that is. Can someone help me out and really break thisdown Barney style for me?

Exactly what Octanum said, and you are on your way to screen magic! Or you can buy a program that takes pictures and monitors everything anyone does on your computer. It will keep a log of every file opened and every key typed. Look at the Desktop detective. Good luck!

Well I hate barney so I'm not gonna break it down that style. However, the easiest way is to just press the "PrintScreenSysRq" key. Then go to some sort of picture editing program and paste. If you would like to go more in-depth, try that bulets screen capture thing the other guy suggested. You can record to an avi file, make time lapse pics, etc.

I use winsnap, you can save to clipboard or a file of your choosing, the whole screen or a region, you can even include the pointer.
