sterilized? that's a pretty harsh way of putting it but, yes it can improve your sex life ,from an emotional stand point. no fear of pregnancy.

Some, but by no means all, women find that with the concern about pregnancy removed, they are far more open to sexual intimacy. It sometimes happens to women who've gone through menopause, too. So yes, it can improve *some* women's sex life, but it would not be wise or fair to push the issue with your significant other. Women aren't identical in their needs, desires and capabilities. That's why they're so wonderful - they're all different!

Yes....if like others have said birth control was a concern before and causing stress. Ummm.....just a question for ya Dave....why was she the one to get a tubal which can cause problems for her when she gets older....not to mention for some women it can make there periods a REAL living hell....when it is much easier for the man....now pucker up here *snip snip* LOL Real it is no biggie...about an hour out of your life two or three stitches and a bag of frozen peas and a COLD beer when ya get home.

OK I HAD MINE DONE ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO. AND WHEN YOU ARE WITH THE RIGHT PERSON YES IT IMPROVES ALOT. BECAUSE HELL NOW I CAN HAVE SEX 7 DAYS A WEEK AND 24HOURS A DAY IF I WANTED TOO. IT'S ALL GOOD.....

I don't know about woman but i had a vasectomy and ill tell you what I'm 51 and i cant beat that dog down

well..for hubby and I it did..
we have three children..and a few years back I got my tubes tied. we now are more spontaneous then we were before..we dont worry about getting pregnant because of the low % risk..
Just remember...getting that operation does not garantee that you will not get pregnant..

im worse i think and dam that was years ago i got my tubes tied i think mines increased too much for age 58 be 59 soon
