and i'm new this year but i've been at my school for half the year
and i'm in 6th grade and i hang out withpopular people but i'm not popular
can someone popular please tell me how they do it?
p.s. if your someone whos gonna tell me to not worry about being popular worry about your grades -don't i'm doing fine in school , i'm a A and B student

i dont mean to sound cheezy but just be confident in yourself and try to be more outgoing without being obnoxious. if u have friends, wats the problem?

Just because you hang out with popular people does not mean that you're going to be popular.Try making a lot of new friends and keeping a good disposition.Trust me.I'm in 8th grade and I'm a very well known person at my school.

So you want to be popular. Well I'm popular and I do nothing. I have tons of friends and I hang out with the popular guys. Everybody knows me too. Plus this is my first year here. I didn't do anything to become popular I was just myself.

There are different kinds of popular
1. popular because they are gorgeous and successful and people adore them from a far
2. people who are popular because they talk to everyone and are mean to no one
I would suggest you talk to everyone you can and be friendly and curteous but not fake...I would also suggest you keep gossip that you spread to a minimum because that will only give you a bad name...also inviting people over to your house gives you more opportunities to bond with people.
I would just really put myself out there to get to know everyone. Not just the kids to are 'popular' because the reason those kids are popular is because they are envied by those who arent...and to get the approval of the less popular kids will help you as well....

I started becumin active an showin off ma gud abilities... like i played basketball, showed off on tha drums, read poems and things in front of tha school. Just start getting your name around in a gud way by doin gud things. Dont try anything stupid.

dont worry about being popular, thats how u get noticed. if u just act like u do, then u will get more noticed.
oh, if u have like talent shows, do those,sports work as well.
just be easy.
