I know, I know...all of my questions are about my heritage, but I`m VERY interested in it! Sorry!

Moving on, if your heritage is of Pamplona, Spain, are you referred to as a "Pamplonian?"

If you LIVE in Pamplona, Spain are you considered a "Pamplonian?"

I just want to know if it`s a real word, haha.

"Pamplonian" is not the proper term for the ethnicity. The proper term would be Basque... i.e., Pamplona is the historical capital of Navarre, the former Basque kingdom and an important city in the Basque territory of Spain, so your heritage would be Basque if your ancestors are from Pamplona.

There is a Spanish word for someone from Pamplona: pamplonés, just like a madrileño is someone from Madrid. But "Pamplonian" sounds very bizarre.

That is in Catalonia I Think, They Regard Themselves as Different to the Spanish and want to be Separate to Spain. They have there own Diaect of Spanish. That is were all the Trouble is in Spain. They are always setting off Bombs all over Spain. They have an Underground Terrorist Organisation Euskerria, Euskaddi or something like that, they have been Fighting for Years For Independence from Spain. So you would be a Catalan from North Eastern Spain.Good Luck.

Pamplona is clearly in the Basque region, not the Catalan region. And Catalan is not a "dialect" of Spanish, it's a different romance language entirely.

I think it's better to say Basque than Pamplonian. If you're from Barcelona, you'd say you were Catalan, from Dublin you'd say Irish, from Stockholm you'd say Swedish, so from Pamplona you'd say Basque.

Although it's possible your ancestors are Castilian and not Basque at all. Depends on their last name, family history, languages spoken...
