If you are pregnant and bleeding as if a period, it is not a period. You need to get to the doctor NOW.

Yes, it is possible it happen to me. I didn't know I was pregnant and I had a normal period up until I was 5 months. But it's good to know or to find out if you are pregnant if you think you could be. Because I didn't think I was and I was and I lost the baby. So to answer your question again yes it is possible to have a period and be pregnant.

Yes god knows how, but apparently it's possible to still have your period for up 3 months in pregnancy?! It's something to do with the rest of the womb being dispelled except for the part the egg is embedded in.

I did a lot research into this and now my gf buys pregnancy tests every month just to be safe.

Absolutely. Some women go nine months without knowing they are pregnant. Some are irregular anyway and that creates some question with some women but normally you stop you period at the beginning of pregnancy and make up for it when the baby is born.

It is definitly possible, but if you bleed heavily you should seek medical attention right away. A friend of mine bled for the first two months after conceiving. And her baby is completly fine. Even if it is not heavy, bring it to the attenion of your doctor so he can keep an eye on everything, to make sure that your baby stays safe :) Good Luck!

It would be lighter than normal if you did have one. It wouldn't be red. Some people bleed or think that the "period" is actually their period when it's really not.
Ask yourself if this was a REAL period to you. Or if there was something different.

Very rarely. It should only happen in the first few months. If its been longer, the best idea would be medical help.

It's called spotting and its fairly common in the first trimester. If it persists beyond the first trimester, there may be something wrong. Your doctor will probly put you on bed rest if it persists.
