President David Palmer is shot after he leaves office at the beginning of the 5th season. As for the new Palmer prez, I have no idea.

There was an assassination attempt on President Palmer two weeks ago but as of now, he is still fighting. I do believe he will pull through!

Wayne Palmer? If you really NEED to know..he's not in good shape, the assassination attempt went through as planned and he's clinging on to life.
