Take a biggish bottle with a tight lid. Stick a big sponge in the bottle and fill it 1/2 way with warm water.

Take an air pump and run an air line from the pump through the lid to the bottom of the bottle and put an airstone on the end.

Take another air line and run it from just inside the lid to wherever you want to humidify. Use the biggest airlines available.

The air pump runs air to the bubbler. The bubbler splashes water into the air an onto the sponge making the upper part of the bottle very humid. The additional air pressure pushes the humid air along the second airline to wherever the line goes to.

The Tropic Aire works OK, but really does not work magic- it won't humidify a big area by itself. The bigger the pump the more humid air it will pump.

Of course, you could make one yourself for less.

it is generally just like a fogger, minus the fog, if your putting it in an open air enclosure i can almost guarantee that the walls of the room its in will become wet all the time. plus it will turn that room into a tropical feeling room thats very humid an d unpleasant to be in.
