Going by pokemon rules:

Fire is neutral against Earth
Earth is super-effective against Fire

So a ground pokemon would probably beat a fire pokemon.

But what if that fire pokemon is a Charizard? Earth has 0% accuracy against Flying. But maybe the Ground pokemon knows Rock Slide...

haha u know what this is our debate...IM TELLING U NOW EARTH WOULD WIN!! It would win because the dirt..and stuff would win!
