Flying in a dream here means the ability for flight, not flying with the means of a mechanical device such as an airplane. When you have the ability for flight in a dream it symbolizes mobility in the inner levels of consciousness. You are experiencing an astral trip to the other side (your soul leaving your physical body). Many psychics claim that the other side is not somewhere indifinitely up in the sky...it's indeed in close proximity to the ground level...slightly above the buildings.
I too experience frequent dreams in which I am flying over buildings. I love it. I have been exposed to a lot of features that I once considered strange and didnt seek to understand. Perhaps in those intial 15 minutes as you fall asleep (your soul leaving your body) you have noticed how your body shivers and as you are about to wake up you experience a similar more intense feeling as if you can't get out of the sleep state...you almost feel attacked and num (your soul repossessing your body).
Talk to God or your spirit guide with your wishes...whether you wish to experience something in particular during your dreams or perhaps you have no desire to experience anything at all and wish to rest peacefully.

I dont know how spiritual you are but i can say this, flying gives you a sense of freedom. If you in some way are in bondage right now God thru his holy spirit is showing you freedom and liberty are in the near future if you do what HE wants you to do.

Is it possible that you're currently under a lot of stress and totally bogged down with a butt-load of responsibilities? I say that because for most people a state of flight is one of the freest states of being we can imagine. So, I'm thinking that these dreams are you're mind's way of expressing it's desire to be free from what assails it.
