is she a true friend to me?

i have made a good friend recently. i mean shes kinda bossy and kinda rude but i love her and we consider eachother bestfriends.
if we hangout like everyweekend and talk alot on the phone is that a best friend?

That's up to you. People often say "She/he is not a true friend/lover if they do _________." But come on, we are not living in a perfect world. We are all rude or upset or sad etc. at times; if we weren't we wouldn't be human! Also, she might not even realize how she is. The main thing I suggest is talking to her about she makes you feel when she's rude/bossy without being too accusatory. Keep it light. If you care about her in other ways, you can ignore her behavior for the most part as long as she's not putting you down and being abusive.

A true friend would not be rude to you, nor would she be "bossy". A true friend is someone you can trust with your life. She is someone who listens as much as she talks. She's the one person you want to tell what's really going on inside your head. She's like an old pair of sneakers...she might have a few holes and the strings might be mismatched, but she's still the first thing you pull out of the closet.

yeah, i would say you're best friends... if she is the ''best'' friend you have then i guess that makes her your best friend.
