i am preppy ,very, i luv hollister american eagle abercrombie ,and ya(infact im wear all 3 of the stores right now),but anyways vans and etnies are the type of shoe id go with, if u wanna be sporty, casual, you can just get some sandals that are earth tones like browns(they work great) they sell them at american eagle and hollister too. For sandals also aldo they have great leather ones. For a more dressy look wear heels ,aldo also has great heels.

It's like a skater/surfer look so think of shoes that go with that.
American Eagle has it's own shoe line too, so you might want to check that out.
I've seen many guys wear sandals & flip flops.
I'd personally go with the Etnies/Vans.

You can wear something skater-ish like vans or converse. its good for preps too. also i luv clogs. every guy and girl whos a prep at my scool owns clogs. A lot of people like flip-flops (even in the winter). I'm 99.9% prep and i wear flip flops a lot. also, flat, thin, sneakers in earth tones are good. what kind of shoes do u wear now?

prep comes in so many different varities now. punk-prep, gay-prep, conservative-prep, rich-prep, sporty-prep, fancy-prep... so it really depends on what kind of guy you are. pumas and adidas are acceptable, generally, for all of the above types of 'prep'. if you're more into the hoody thing rather than the button up shirt/polo thing, go for dc or some form of skater shoes. if you're a blazer/button shirt guy, go for casual dress shoes (im gonna suggest aldo for lack of a better store).

american eagle sells their own shoe line. check out pac sun, they have a bunch of cool shoes. my sons both like converse shoes...............chuck taylor high tops, and some of their other regular shoes. if you are a girl.............chuck's are good and rocket dawg has some fo the cutest casual shoes. good luck to you!!!!
