I pumped milk for the 10 weeks my son was in Children's Hospital (He was born 11 weeks early) and when he came home I had to switch to formula and due to his acid reflux I could only use soy (Milk based caused him to vomit several times a day). Walmart's formula is the only one that he could keep down. He is now 2 1/2 and smart as a whip.

I'm pretty sure the FDA regulates all baby formulas to make sure they contain the right minimum/maximum amount of vitamins and minerals so all should be ok. I don't know about the others but Enfamil says it doesn't sell under any other label. I did try the Parent's Choice formula from Wal Mart and it caused my daughter to become constipated. Costco is a good place to go for large cans for a resonable price. They sell their own brand, Kirkland, as well as Similac and Enfamil.

I remember having to make this decision when my daughter was born nearly two years ago. At the time, the Parent's Choice formula didn't have the same AMOUNT of all the vitamins and minerals as Enfamil or Simlac. It had the same ingredients but wasn't as nutritious. Your baby will only be a baby once- I say pay for the better formula.
Just remember: You get what you pay for. The ingredients are the same in Parent's Choice as Enfamil and Simlac but if you actually open the formula canisters and just look at the formula inside- the quality is quite different.
Like I said- your baby will only grow up once. I opted for the best I could buy and saved elswhere.
PS: I started buying my Enfamil at Costco and over time, I ended up saving enough money buying in bulk that it wouldn't have made much difference (money wise) If I bought the Wal-Mart brand. You can probably go online to compare pricing www.costco.com

Depending on how much your baby eats, you can also buy the big 32oz of Nestle Good Start essentially the same price as the big cans of Similac or Enfimil. All formula is pretty much the same. You can buy a small can and try them on it. If they don't like it, you may need to switch. It just depends on how your baby reacts.

I used Parents Choice with my third child. It's the same as the Enfamil Lipil I used for the others. I just wish I had known about it with the other two, I could have saved so much money! My baby had no problems with it whatsoever. I definitely recommend it!

I used it with all three of my kids. I think it matches up almost exactly with enfamil as far as the amount of vitamins in it. They have all the varieties as the other formulas for example soy, organic, with lipids. Only problem is you have to go to Walmart to get it. The White Cloud diaper sold there are also great.

I used Parents Choice, and I asked my doctor about it first. He said it was the same thing, just different packaging. If you look at the labels, it has the same ingredients in it.

Its the same thing, just check the labels, it usually made by the same company too. They just slap a pretty label on it so you have to pay twice as much.
Good luck
Ask your Dr. if your worried
