Its probably due to a whole bunch of negetive compiled emotions that have been bottled up inside. Or it could be due to concious or subconsious worries that need to be expressed. Perhaps its a problem that you need to solve or "unfinished business throughout the day. It all depends on what your dreams are about. There is this awesome website where you can look up the meanings of dreams. It is very helpful as far as pinpointing the cause so that you can find ways to solve the underlying cause.

You need to look at the dreams, work out what the key points in the dreams are.
This will help you pin point what it is in your life that is effecting you.

Some people will dream of houses and getting stuck or lost within it. - its taking the time to analise what it is in your house that is effecting you.. Then going back over it in waking life and start making small changes.
Most of the time our dreams will help us face things in our life we never thought we could.

You feel guilty or nervous or scared or anxious or sad... about something. As much as you can manage to avoid your feeling when you're awake, your mind will sort it out in creative ways while you're sleeping. Spend some time jotting down the dreams; then try to figure out the source of your feelings and work to resolve or at least confront the problems.

IN some psychological teachings, they explain to you in your dreams what is going on and what you think sub-conciously. When you dream something, there is this eery happening where it is imprinted in your head. Sometimes they are just fluffs, but everything hs its meaning, and dreams actually can show you to do something, just as it did Leonardo Da Vinci.

Many of our dreams are based on the hopes and fears of our subconscious. The bad dreams are the fear part.

I'll put it another way. Something is bugging you. Once you get it sorted out and resolved, they will stop.
