ok today i was sitting on myspace writing messeges and all of a sudden this little box pops up and says someone is trying to get into your profile and find out your passwrod and everything! i deleted my account but do u think i should be afraid of anyhting?

No. Do you know what program caused the popup? If you have a good virus protector, it might have caught someone trying to hack into your computer. Just don't ever give out your full name,and personal information over the internet.

Be very afraid. Some adwares/scams operate by warning you of some privacy issue. Do not click the box for more info. or to install additional anti-virus protection without further research first. It could be a trojan/worm and with 'one' click invade your computer...Check out www.spywarewarrior.com..It is full of info on worms, viruses, cookies, adwares, etc., even the names of them & how they work. All the latest..

I don't think you should either be afraid of anything or deleted your account. You could have filed a complaint to the myspace staff
