Old Cartoon?

Does anyone remember an old cartoon from like the mid 90's where there were a bunch of people that fought evil. The one specific thing I remember is there was a kid and he would get covered in this green slime and then he would turn into this huge strong guy. Also there was another guy who had a blonde ponytail. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks

now youve got and got me all irritable i know what show your talking about but i cant think of the name boy is it going to make me upset
