My Husband and I are going to Myrtle Beach for the weekend Next weekend and I am looking for things that we can enjoy with out breaking the bank. We will be staying at The Reef Resort Hotel and would like to do things that are either a short drive or walking distance away. We already plan to go and do all three “Ripley's believe it or not!” locations. However we have nothing planned for Friday evening or Saturday evening. Is there anyone who lives in the area or visits it frequently that could give us some pointers? We would also be interested in some nice but inexpensive restaurants.

Visit Broadway at the Beach and do some shopping. There are so many inexpensive things to do. There are many putt putt golf places which can be a blast. Family Kingdom opens this weekend I do believe, on Friday, it is a short walk from your hotel. The House of Blues at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach usually has live entertainment and descent food. Also, at Broadway they have live entertainment in Celebrity Square of the evenings. My favorite restaurant is located at Coastal Grand Mall, located on 501, called Sticky Fingers. They have great Ribs and BBQ. They are affordable. If you and your husband still feel young at heart, go to the Nascar Speedway and put his driving to the test. Then grab a bite at the Nascar Cafe. Nascar is located just across from Broadway. For a late night bite and you dont want to leave the hotel, call Hot Wings Express. You should have a flyer somewhere in your room. They have great food. Most places deliver until around 5 am. But one important piece of advice buy your pop and snacks before you leave home, vending machines and stores are expensive. You will pay about $5 for a 12 pack of Pepsi. Well, I hope my info has been helpful. If you are still confused on what to do when you arrive, turn your tv to channel 33 in your hotel room. They have everything about the beach. Good Luck.

The Ripley's Aquarium is the best thing to do at MB. You can eat at the Nascar Cafe fairly inexpensive or Hard Rock Cafe. If you want seafood, go to the Giant Crab in North MB. There are great cafes in Barefoot Landing.

Nothing is cheap there but if you are up for seeing shows check out The Palace or Dixie Stampede.

Travel Safe!! I used to live down there.

As for entertainment, eating places, and issues like that, some great factors of interest are Nascar SpeedPark, Broadway on the sea coast, Barefoot landing, Planet Hollywood, Ripley's Aquarium, Ripley's 4-D journey, Atlantis Putt-Putt golf, The Dixie Stampede, and Deep Sea Fishing with the typhoon Fleet, to call some. quite, those are relaxing no remember while you're 4 or forty. some remarkable places to consume are Benjamin's's unique Calabash Seafood, The Filling Station (Pizza), and T-Bones (at Barefoot landing). Umm you are able to circulate to Barefoot landing and Broadway on the sea coast (i circulate to Barefoot landing in the day in many situations, yet once you circulate at nighttime they have a funky little carnival-like ingredient)... yet do no longer waste it sluggish going to the mall, it sucks, even in spite of the shown fact that, there's a place called outdoor international there and it quite is exciting. they have a great fishtank with small sharks in it and there are daiIy shark feedings. i'm hoping that this data has helped you. Have a great holiday!
