I think there are conservative trolls on the CIA pay roll answering political questions. Yahoo should follow the same stats as opinion polls and such. Yet with Bush support at its lowest, answers is over 50% conservative. How could this be?

Not the CIA payroll, but there's clearly a directive from the College Republicans and other conservative orgs to their members to get onto forums like this one. The bias is deliberate.

I am not liberal or conservative, I am a human being with my own thoughts and sometimes I think that is what is wrong with this country. I wonder how many people have their own thoughts without them having to try to fit into republican, democrat, conservative, or liberal view points? I don't know if anyone of those groups are all right or all wrong? I think that they all have their good points and bad, it is like any other cult kind of thing you either fit in or you don't, but once you are in you can't seem to get out.

How about all people try to be human beings and have their own oppinions based on what they think is right in their own hearts not what is the most politically correct for them at the time. I think we would do lots better.

If the President lied to the people in which he did I would not care if he was a monkey or a Democrat or a Republican I would still not like it. I watched him lie on tv when he said that "he knew for sure that we had to go because they had weapons of mass destruction". That was a lie, he didn't know that and there were never any found, so then it changed from one thing to another and then, and I still don't know what it is about.

I can't support anyone that would lie just to get our country into a war that other people didn't even ask for. One that is killing innocent children and women, maybe I am wrong? But can anyone just tell me what these "children" did to deserve this? I remember when Monica was around and somehow that was terrible, but I would vote to make love not war any day of the week. They were both consenting adults at the time and his wife forgave him for it, they were not killing or maiming any children were they?

The political spectrum in America is 33% conservative, 33% liberal and 33% independent.

The independents have been lost by Bush in opinion polls.. You do not see them on Yahoo answers in the politics section because they really aren't all that into politics. So that leaves the other two groups about even - here.

Not all conservatives support the decisions Pres. Bush has made. Yes he does have a low approval rating, but the nation still has an equal number of conservatives and liberals.

The media polls are biased and do not show an accurate reflection of the presidents approval rating.

As for here on Answers, it all depends on who happens to be logged on. A Sunday afternoon might find more conservative's online because they are relaxing after church, while many liberals might be sleeping from having been up late the night before.

There is no way to tell why Answers is more liberal or more conservative at any one time. It all has to do with who happens to be online at any given time.

There's going to be signal-to-noise problems in ANY given direction on the internet.

The uninformed majority amongst the liberal, conservative, or neither camp always feels compelled to share its opinion. Furthermore, let's not kid ourselves - ANY side of politics in the US is going to be pretty uninformed all in all, speaking as a liberal (and including my own side of things in this, as well as the "opposite" side.) The people that know the least think they know the most and will come beat their chests and scream shrilly for their pet politics at the drop of a hat.

It's possible that somehow there are more republicans that joined this thing because they want there voices to be heard just as Limbaugh. They are bashing the Democrats through some short of propagation. That's just their way of using their aggravations.

the polls are biased in favor of liberals.

anyway, i don't know what you're talking about. i see WAY more anti-conservative "questions" on this thing than anything (except those annoying weight loss questions). they're usually extremely stupid and immature too.

and you may be mistaking them for conservatives. read more carefully. i've seen a ton of questions by liberals pretending to be a conservative and acting really stupid to make conservatives look bad. it's usually pretty easy to see through though because they have so many backhanded compliments about their own supposed party...

Uhhh... Yahoo better not start censoring answers for political viewpoint. Perhaps, now that the liberal Dem's have failed to do anything they promised for the sole purpose of being elected, some of the liberal folks are starting to question their tactics...

The problem is, ya'll are believing your own press... that EVERYONE supports the liberal agenda... or that "educated"people support the liberal agenda... that's just a bunch of propaganda started by the libs in the 60's... How's it feel to be a puppet?
