I'd suggest that you try some strength training exercises. I caution you to be careful about weight gain because you don't want to gain fat mass, as that can negatively affect your health. However, muscle mass is "healthy" weight gain and is best increased by using free weights and resistance exercise. I'd advise making sure you get enough protein and make sure that you drink enough fluids to help your body in that building process. You might want to talk to a dietitian or a personal trainer for specific exercises to focus on specific areas of the body.

I'm in the same situation you are except I am 2 inches shorter. I recently posted a similar question. I'm going to consume more foods that are rich in protein and drink more milk and such. Currently I eat more junk food than I should, but that doesn't seem to do anything for my weight gain. Some good advice I've received is to start journaling your meals and keep track of calories. Hey, if it works for either of us, we should let the other know.

Eat right. eat on time and don't skip meals. Don't over eat because that could backfire.
Also, there are some cases where genetically some people can gain more weight than the regular people.
As long as you eat right and healthy don't worry.
