the company was bought out 2 years ago but we was never give any new contracts this is a big company with 100`s of employees. one off the lads is facing the sack but on a differant diserplin action/ contract that we have not singed 4. im just wondering if we should still be working 2 the contract we signed are if there is a good web site which we can look these things up. if it is that we should still be working to the contarct he should only have a verbel warnin. i thing thay are trying to force him out he has had a warning about his spelling/grammer can that be right,

Yes, you should be working only to a contract that you have signed up to. If anything else has been introduced then it's irrelevant if your signature is not on it.

It is you we are on about right, i noticed your spelling! Anyway if your contract (the one you signed) has been changed then the employer should draft up a new contract and to seek agreement on the changes from staff. If they have not done this then your contract will be your original one, they cannot sack you or bully you out as this is known as constructive dismissal and is against the law.

if these contracts have never been formally issued and accepted then he is working under his old terms,he should ask them when he was issued with this new contract if he is unsure if it was issued.he would have signed the new one
