I was a little girl in an outhouse up in the sky floating and trying to keep away from the witch on a broom that was trying to get me....I remember this dream cause it was so real...I was crying , screaming and my brother came into my dream and chased the witch away and safely guided me back to earth.....I woke up in my closet with my mother taking me into her safe arms.....p.s. back in the old days we had to use an outhouse to go potty until my dad built us an inside toilet.
Did I maybe see The Wizard of Oz before going t sleep? I don't know.

This is no word of a lie my scariest dream has got to be when I had a dream of a vicar who touched my hand I felt it in real life (it was almost as if it was real as if it was really happening) but it was a dream anyway he touched my arm and said she will get worse before she gets better and then the dream ended it lasted seconds but a couple of weeks later my mum was rushed into hospital she had a minor stroke and I thought back to that dream and it was like a warning but a comforting warning because then I knew she was going to get better.

I grew up near Faslane Submarine Base during the height of the Cold War. Saturation from T.V. ensured that I understood what M.A.D. meant before I was ten.
As a child I had nightmares where my family were killed by the first strike, except for my youngest sister and I.
I knew we would both die a long, lingering death and rather than let that happen I resolved to kill us both.
The dream would end with me screaming at the sky to send another missile so that I wouldn't have to kill my sister.
I wonder what terrors haunt my children's dreams, now the Red Menace is dead? I wonder what colour their Bogey Man is?

I used to have this dream when i was a toddler, repeatedly.
I was in a grassy playing field with oter kids we were all happily running aroun and playing. There was a massive clock like Big Ben on a skyscraper at one end and it was just at any moment was gonna strike.
And i knew that when it struck something terrible was gonna happen.
It was terrifying and i always woke up a split second before it struck, in a panic.

I used to have this dream over and over again for a couple years
I was riding along (im unsure who was driving) in this old little dark green s-10 (my parents owned a few years before) and the inside of the truck was packed full of boxes and whatnot like we were moving or something. tehn we swurved and skidded and the truck went into some body of water and the truck sunk..and i could feel my lungs filling with water slow and i started getting cold. i would look over to my left and there was Annie (my baby doll i had since birth). my chest would get real heavy, cold and my lungs full of water.
then i would wake up and but dead cold and i couldn't feel any of my body for a couple minutes.
that dream was terrifying... knowing what it is like to drowned i had it once a night for a couple years. until i got in a bad accident (having nothing to do with the truck from teh dream) when i was 16.

I had a dream that looked and felt so real. I was walking down this dark street with only one street light when i looked up and saw a huge hawk sitting on the street light. I kept walking trying to ignore it and it started to swoop over my head scrapping the top of my head. I fell to the ground and the hawk pecked and ripped at my skin until i woke up.
(Im not scared of birds by the way)

I go to a social advent...and everyone has to turn their phones off (no thats not the scary bit) but I turn my on vibrate...and for the first time ever it rings, and its a phonecall saying my brother was in a car crash. For some reason I can't tell my parents, and I have to go to his death bed, then suddenly all these horrible things start happening- people are being taken as slaves, marriage is banned, no kids, and I get seperated from everyone. And of course I have to try to save everyone...so I start by buying every slave back one by one. Ahhhh!

I was staying in an old hotel in Ireland that had a spiral staircase above the music room. when I went in it felt cold. During the night a felt a arm squeeze me so tight that I couldn't breathe. I was desparately trying to get myself up and was unable to move. I woke up then fell asleep again only for the same thing to happen again!! I thought I was going to die..

A few months after my parents split up, I had a dream that my mom had a new boyfriend who ran a contracting business, but he was really a serial killer and he kept telling me he was going to kill me by wrapping my face in three layers of plastic. Nobody would believe me about him except my sister, and my mom started hating me and making me ride everywhere with him in his big black truck and he threatened me all the time. I woke up bawling and cried for like half an hour!
