I don't know if these work (in fact, I just posted this question) but I signed up for these websites that show auditions that are available for you to try out for. You can also find out which ones are close to the area where you live. Try http://www.auditions.com/

i want to become an actress to and ive been selected for different commericals but they wanted money but i think u dont have to live in california u should probably try acting school, get an agent, or just be looking out for auditions in your area hope this helps good luck i also signed up with this website called casting calls.com its free and it tells u all the auditions in your area so u should probably try that

I don't really have an answer to your question and I live in ohio so every acting thing I looked up online is for ohio acting. But for the people into acting that want to make friends email me!!! Or send me a link to your myspace or something, I just want to have friends who are interested in the same things as me!!

You have to kiss some serious ***. The only state you would have a chance would be hollywood (CA)
