that would depend on whether you want to save the relationship or not.if you do, this i gonna be tough to do. you'll need to head on confront him re: the situation in a frank, hopefully peaceable conversation. i can say from personal experience that a good part of the time wanting to take a lover is not merely an expression of lust, but is more often linked with some other deeper dissatisfaction with the relationship itself... not getting from it some missing element. then you can start the healing process.

I'd start packing my bags and move out. I would serve him with divorce papers and sue him for all that he's got. I have no tolerance for cheating people. I don't have a tolerance for abusive people either...I had to watch too much of my cousins/aunt get hurt. Don't like to see it and if it happens to me, that's exactly what I will do.

I'd dig my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive
carve my name into his leather seats
take a Louisville slugger to both headlights
slash a hole in all four tires

I think I would be scrambling to figure out why she was thinking it.
If it was obvious there was a problem anyway, I think I would have been addressing it from the get go. And working on it.
But if she was thinking it, it would kind of be out of character for her to act on it...just not her style.

What could anyone do? Nothing. You can't fault people for their thoughts. It's their actions that warrant response. Everyone has fantasies most do not act on them.
