A couple friends and I are interested in traveling to Costa del Sol, Spain this summer for about 4-6 days. Neither of us has any clue, as to how much it might cost us.

I was wondering if there was anyone with some experience that would be able to give us a good estimation on how much the trip would cost.

This would include, airfare, food, and fun. We own timeshare there, so we won't be needing a hotel.

Can anyone help me?

Check this site out, it has some pretty good deals at the moment. http://www.skyscanner.net/gbp/flights/man/agp/070706/070710/airfares-to-malaga-from-manchester-in-july-2007.html?adults=2&
As for the cost of things when you get here it's quite cheap and there is plenty to do.
As you come out of the airport there is a taxi rank on the left. It should cost approx 20- 25 euros if you are going to Benalmadena, but ask how much before you get in the taxi.

Menu of the day (Chinese) which consists of starter, main course and dessert from as little as 5 euros
Spanish around 7 euros
Meal from English bar approx 5-8 euros
These are only a guide as depending on what food you like some may be cheaper or more expensive
Cigarettes less than 3 euros for a packet of 20
1.5Lr Coca Cola 1.5 euro
Non brand names and beers from supermarkets are very cheap
0.30 for a beer 0.30 for a soft drink or water
From a bar 1-1.50 euros
Spirit with mixer about 4 euros
Wine as cheap or as expensive as you like from approx 1 euro bottle/carton upwards from the supermarkets
For a glass from a bar 1-1.50 euros
Sun tan lotion 8 euros
Bread 1 euro,margarine, 0.60
Ice cream 1-2 euros
Travel by bus cheap, by taxi expensive
If you have time go to Benalmadena marina it's beautiful, lots of open bars, restaurants and good shopping. Take some bread to feed the fish.
Tivoli world is a theme park in Aroyo de la Miel, well worth a visit.
This is the local English paper for the Costa, there may be day trips advertized http://surinenglish.com
I could have been more help if you would have stated which town you are visiting. Email me if you need more information as I live here

i lived over in there for more than ten years, in fuengirola, marbella, benalmadena and mijas costa.....

a friend of mine recently booked flights from the uk to spain, return for £88 that was for two of them in the summer.....proper bargain!.....usually theyre like double that per person.........................
he booked it with easyjet ............look for the bargains, you'll find some!
about how much it costs to live for 4-6days it depends where abouts you are.....but the prices the the person mentions above is about right, obviously if you habve a good look around you find better bargains,
for example if you have lunch or dinner on the beach front its going to cost you more than if you go one street back......get me?..........
if your going out drinking, start in a spanish bar (it will be cheaper!)...then later go on to the bigger english clubs.......

you wont need a lot of money i wouldnt have thought.......i mean if you go for 6 days, your going to loose half a day each way by travelling, so really ur only there for 4days......if you knowe what i mean.......
ask people you meet, where they recomend going etc.... people are generally very helpfull......

anything else, contact me and i will try and help.
