I wanna buy tennis shoes for tennis but I wanna get a pair of DC shoes. Would DC shoes be okay for tennis?

I wouldn't use DC shoes to play tennis. When you play tennis you need a shoe that will provide support for the jerky movements, unusual twists and pivots that are common in a game. If you have high arches, flat feet or weak ankles you should get a shoe that helps support those conditions.

A good way to ensure proper fit is to try on the tennis shoes after a run or workout (because your feet enlarge) and make sure you're wearing the socks you'll be playing in. Jump or pivot a little to assure that they're a good fit. You should be able to wiggle each toe, and the shoe should give you a firm grip.

Hope this helps.

It depends on what kind of surface you will be playing on.. Clay? Hard tru? Check with your coach if you aren't sure and then visit your nearest Sports Authority Store. Let the sales person know what surface you will be playing on and how much tennis you will playing during any given week. I have three pair of tennis shoes and rotate them. One pair is JUST for hard courts....

no, that is just for stylish purpose. for tennis i will say get those balance shoes or basically any shoes u use for running and that u know are comfortable. I play tennis tournament and my shoe is only thirty dollars and it helping me win , so just get a shoe dat's comfortable and that u can run with, it will help, and make sure you know your leg fit for a shoe because it help also in knowing what shoe wont cause you injury on court.
