What are the differences/similarities between these? I've been looking at colleges and the majors they have and been wondering.
Thanks.

Criminology has more to do with why crime happens and how to prevent it. It's more theoretical and society wide based than police science or forensic science.

Police science and forensic science are the separate courses since a police scienc graduate may well be walking a beat while the forensic science grad will be working crime scenes. The criminology programme has the ability to go both ways which means it may be more intensive, depending on the school. Does this help you decide?
