I derfenitely agree with you. It is a pity that they do not learn anything from their past experience. I strongly feel that main reason for most of their defeats is that they are complacent and over confident when playing against weaker teams and totally rely on their past glory instead of treating the opponents seriously and play with determination to win all games.

I deffinately agree. I think that the India players are more concered about the media, I went to India and nearly every tv ad featured a cricket player. No wonder they're not doing so well. I was surprised that Dhoni even remembered he was a cricket player and actually remembered to bring his bat out onto the crease in the match against Bangladesh but I wasn't surprised when he got out on a duck. With all this, I still support India (and England) but they are spoiling their chances of winning the cup.

True...they earn more on things outside of cricket then they do with cricket. Its only because of cricket that these guys got famous in the first place! And this is how they give back
They earn soooo much through commercials and endorsements. They get like $500 a match I think haha. They get around $50,000 in a year but they earn ten times as much through ads for food, clothing and other lame commercials(LOL). Sachin has a ferarri btw...how many cricketers you know of own one???

Nobody is ever any bigger than any game and that goes for teams too? Whatever gave you that idea. I think that Indians just love their cricket.

Like most sports atheltes. I really can't fault them to much. It's a harsh business with no loyalty. So can we expect players to act different then how they are treated by their employeers. In their shoes, would we not milk it for all it's worth till they are done using us?
