Excellent question. I don't think I would be. At least I hope I'm not that shallow. I'd probably just think my taste didn't run across the lines of the usual norm. I see lots of merchandise that looks high end but this doesn't mean it's my style. Though, I take notice and respect it's value this doesn't mean it would be something I'd choose to have in my own home. Therefore, I should be aware that others would have the same opinion of the items I value.

I don't waste my money on luxury items. I'm not out to impress myself; the shop from which I buy, nor others.

No. If i purchase a luxury item, I do it because I want it, not because I want people to be impressed. I really don't care if people are impressed or not.

Well if you bought a luxury item to impress people .. then you wasted your money... but if you bought it for you;... because you really wanted it... then it is not wasted

No, I buy what I want for ME, not to impress anyone else. Only losers try to impress others with their bling.
