My husband has just joined the Navy. He will be stationed on a carrier. We're not sure where the best place to be is. We really don't know what life is like at any of these places. Just trying to gather some informationon Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; Everett, WA and Mayport FL. Thanks for your help!

I have no idea about Everett, WA or Mayport, FL, but I live in Norfolk, and it is pretty nice. There is a lot to do, and you are close to attractions in Williamsburg and are just a few hours from Washington, DC. I am actually in San Diego for work right now (I work for the Navy), and it is gorgeous out here. I would love to live here, except that the cost of living is MUCH higher than in Norfolk. Definitely a nice place to be, though, and you can't beat the weather.

SD is great & could be uninteresting, yet additionally relaxing. it is high priced & i admire the climate. it is an superb city. Miami climate isn't as great as SD, it is somewhat extra risky, it is extra high priced, relaxing to an volume. I had extra relaxing in Orlando. I desire SD. it quite is in basic terms my opinion.
