He forced native tribes out of their homelands, pushing them further and further west. There were scandals during his presidency, and he was an overall arrogant man.

Jessica, you're a moron- Andrew jackson wasn't impeached- You're thinking of Andrew Johnson! Typical liberal, you don't know American history!
The Indian Removal Act was a much needed piece of legislation- the Indians were savages who weren't doing anything with the land- ecept attacking white settlers and breaking treaties. Jackson saw the need for western expansion, and the Indians were in the way.
Andrew jackson was a great president.

Jackson was a cruel man, he tortured the Indians and not once cared for them. Having someone throw you out your own homeland is hurtful especially when you have a family to take care of. Jackson mistreated them and most of the Indians died, suffered via diseases and starvation during the trail of tears. So yes he is a bad person, somewhat similar to Columbus .

From what i've read he was a mean guy. You read about the trail of tears?,he created it. He sighned more then 90 treaties with the native indians and broke most of them.
