Do people still keep diarys?

With as busy as people are, I get the impression it isn't done as it was in the past. My mother kept a diary up until she was about 65 or so.

I keep a journal - although I don't write in it everyday

I have one, but I haven't written in it for like a week now.
It's hidden, so I don't have to worry about somebody finding it.
That would suck because there's no lock on it. But I never write names of the people I'm talking about. I give them nicknames and when I'm talking about some secret of mine, I'll write it in a way no one will ever understand.
No one will ever know...

Honestly, I've never seen the point in a diary. I guess I'm just not cool like that.

It was just one more thing for my siblings or my parents to find and read and rag on me about.

I have like 4 or 5 of them that I don't write in anymore, because I don't have the time...=(

I had one when I was young and kept it until I was about 25 I think.

I do and i write every now and then sometimes i am so busy i write in it once a month but latly every night it is relaxing

I kept one as a kid and my daughter who is 11 has one. I think that it is more for teenagers

Yes, but I almost never write in it. I am lazy to do it day to day, but later I wished I had written stuff that I don't remember clearly ...

I had one for a while. But it became an obsession so I stopped writing in it.
