Yes.. the Ainu. They're an ethnic group in Japan and are indegenous to Hokkaidō, northern Honshū, the Kuril Islands, much of Sakhalin, and the southernmost third of the Kamchatka peninsula. In a sense, they're similar to other ethnic tribes in asia, north america, south america for they practice animism and shamanism.

Sadly there aren't much of them left nowadays, as with most other pre-colonial tribes.

I would think they would, Japan is such a small country you would think their people would have spread everywhere.
