Cocoa is unsweetened. You have to cook it with sugar. Hot chocolate is instant.

i think cocoa is more bitter and especailly for making hot cocoa....the chocolate you can eat or drink

hot cocoa is made with dark chocolate... while hot chocolate is made with milk chocolate...
