There's torture in pratically every episode. Do the producers (Kiefer Sutherland being one) have a responsibility to just entertain and make tons of money for News Corp and themselves? Or should try to be a little more realistic with how what happens affects the characters?

Television is entertainment. We need to be smart enough to separate reality from fiction. They have no responsibility for anything we as viewers do. What do they need to do, flash a "Don't Try this at Home" sign before the show?

i love 24 it's the best show ever. you may be looking into it a bit too much. it's entertainment

i think its really awesome show! they could be a little mroe realistic about faking deaths and stuff but otherwise i dont think they should change a thing! the show rocks!

in the new ones there are. the older ones were much better
