There are several ways. Become a volunteer at a local shelter, contact the humane society, or the SPCA. Or like me you can adopt as many pets as you can and give them a loving environment. I have three dogs and three cats, and although I have animal hair everywhere I don't care. I love my pets more than I love anything in this world. I also buy Pedigree dog food which gives a percentage of every bag to shelter dogs.

Try www.theanimalrescuesite.com, and on the top left-hand side, it should say "Free Ways to Help". Hopefully you'll find all the information you need. I think that it's great that you love animals! It's shows that you're a loving and caring person. What is your favorite animal?

First thing you should do is contact Animal Rescue, or the Humane Society, or the SPCA, or other similar. Once you do that, just go for the ride.
