You're right, giving your things to you would end all reason for contact. Your ex-wife is having a hard time letting you go even though she didn't take you back when you whined for her too. Divorce is a terrible thing to go through even if you want it to happen. It's final, it's emotional, it's the untying of a knot that was formed the day you married. And just because papers say you aren't married any more the emotional bonds can remain for some time. If you are truely finished with this relationship you need to get your things back and end contact with her. If you give her the chance to toy with your emotions I believe she will especially if she feels that *you* are responsible for the divorce. Let her go and ask her to let you go as well.

Typical divorce issues.I went through the same thing. It took me almost a month to get a few personal items back from her. On the other hand I had to get all her stuff from my house and take it to her.I told her the day we signed in front of our lawyers that she had thirty days to get the rest of her belongings or they would become mine. She had an entertainment center in the den that she wanted and a set of living room furniture. It took her almost 90 days to come and get it.Almost didn't let her have it.

i would say that she doesn't want to let go even though she claims she has. she still wants to feel attached to you and does want some sort of contact with you. she should really give you your stuff back. she will keep cancelling so that way she can keep seeing you and talking to you. if it all means that much to you call the police and say you have stuff that you need to get from her and she won't let you have it. make a list of it and have them escort you in her place so that way you can get it and get out without any issues or her saying you took something of hers.

I think you figured it out by yourself, she is afraid to loose contact with you for good. And since you made it clear that after the process you 2 would have no reasons to keep in touch, she probably freaked out because that means sayoing goodbye for good. A lot of women still like the feeling they are payed attention to and have a special place in the heart of their X.

who cares. just make a decision and stick to it. stop letting her make your mind up. mail her her stuff and make the decision final. obviously she is unsure. and you sound unsure too. it aint easy but someone has to step up and make a decision for both sake of sanity. OR not. good luck.

she just cant "let go" of the whole thing.....is your stuff valuable?? could she have sold it? or just wants to keep it for herself?
is there really someone else, or just wanted to see YOUR reaction?
now that YOU are not wanting her back, she may feel lost .......
i think SHE is the only one who can truly answer your question.....
i hope you get your stuff and soon.......

I think she just need some time alone. Give her space. Be patience. If she doesn't come back to you, then it was not meant to be.
