Oh dear!.
Try eating slowly so you don't swallow lots of air.
Avoid wind producing foods like beans, cabbage etc.
Speak to your Dr or Midwife at your first routine appointment to see if they have any suggestions.
Other than that just open a window and let them fly!!
Good luck.

Oh, thank God its not just me. I am almost jet powered! The bad news is that I am 20 weeks & still it continues - I asked a friend the same question & apparently it's normal.
My carbon footprint must be huge - Gordon Brown'll tax me more for my personal contribution to climate change.

Yes it is normal to have a lot of gas while pregnant. Try peppermint or ginger.

I have wind and I am not preggers, however I had cabbage for dinner. Eeeeew!!! I dunno what you can take unfortunately you just have to live with these things. When you are big and fat and incontenent at 35 weeks, then you will have something to worry about!! Take it easy and let the wind flow my friend. Good luck xx
